GAM Cylinder Block No. 3

The Cylinder Blocks introduce the child to the first stage of visual discrimination of size. Cylinders diminish in height yet increase in diameter from tall to thin and short to thick. Made of solid beechwood with a satin smooth lacquer finish. Each cylinder is individually sanded and lacquered.

Each cylinder decreses by 1/2 cm in all three dimensions, and as a result progresses in diameter from thin to thick and tall to short. The Cylinder Blocks introduce the child to the first stage of visual discrimination of size.

Variations: The child can follow the demostration done for cylinder block 1 to do cylinder blocks 2,3, and 4.
